Started P90x this week. Actually I started it two weeks ago, but I just made the committment to take it serious this week. I am on day 4 and it's really not that bad. The workouts are difficult, don't get me wrong, but they have modified moves for those of us who are not in the best of shape. My goal, to get rid of this post pregnancy belly that seems to be a permanent fixture in my life and to get in a bikini this summer without feeling self conscious!
The nutrition plan is not too bad either. The only real restriction in Phase 1 is Carbohydrates and of course, junk food. I actually find myself eating more on the nutrition plan than I normally would. For example, breakfast I can have 2 cups of strawberry's and 1/2 cup of cottage cheese AND 6 egg whites! Dinner is challenge sometimes, but I try to save my carb until then. I like it so far, but with my schedule I am hoping I can keep up with the hour a day workouts. My husband is doing P90X also and let me tell you, he has been committed since the beginning and I can already see his results. Talk about kicking myself in the butt for not sticking to it sooner!
Hopefully 86 days from now I'll be looking pretty darn good. Wish me luck!
